Hi Ffynnon followers, it has been a while since we did anything with our blog, but here we are to redress the balance. We have enjoyed a fab spring here. In the end our 20 breeding ewes produced 28 lambs, a combination of Texel/Welsh mountain crosses and Welsh Mules, our Blue Faced Leicester’s first offspring! This gives us a grand total of 54 sheep to keep us busy. Joe is currently trying to get two on a halter so he can take them to the Nevern Show. They are quite wild at the moment so this is an amusing process!
Matilda has been a great hit with all the folks who have stayed in her, and Canopy and Stars have made sure it is going to stay that way during the summer. The holiday cottage has also been busy, although inexplicably, there is plenty of availability across the summer holidays. The holiday cottage is an ideal alternative to Matilda for both families with young children and couples/families with dogs. It has a lovely conservatory and a large garden, which is fully fenced, and access to a trampoline along with the other 42 acres of the farm.
We are very lucky to live in such a beautiful spot and in order to give everyone the opportunity to share it (!) we are discounting the holiday cottage by £100 per week across the summer, bringing the price down to £499 per week.
Best wishes to all, Matt & Emma.
